Pre-Kindergarten
Hope's Pre-Kindergarten classrooms are designed for students, who turn 4 on or before September 1st of the school year. Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum is structured around monthly themes and includes lessons in literacy, math and science, as well as art and music. Our curriculum is designed to prepare your child for the academic, social and spiritual demands of kindergarten.

-Explore a variety of art processes: painting, drawing, sculpture, weaving, collage, etc.
-Use a variety of art materials: Crayons, Tempera Paint, Watercolor Paint, Colored Pencils, Markers, Oil Pastels, Art Chalk, Clay
-Experiment with mixing paint colors
-Participate in movement songs and dances
-Use scarves, rhythm sticks and beans bags to practice rhythms
-Participate in dramatic play
-Practice problem-solving skills in social situations
